About the Role Databricks is seeking a Lakebase Sales Specialist to help customers modernize their operational data foundation with Lakebase, our fully-managed Postgres offering for intelligent applications. This high-impact role sits within the Lakebase Go-To-Market team and partners closely with regional Account Executives to drive adoption of Lakebase with platform, application, and data teams. Lakebase provides customers with a unified, governed foundation for operational workloads and AI-native applications, helping them move from fragmented point databases toward a modern, scalable data foundation.
What You'll Do
- Drive adoption of Lakebase with enterprise customers alongside regional Account Executives.
- Collaborate with platform, application, and data teams to understand requirements and map them to Lakebase capabilities.
- Help customers modernize their operational data foundation and migrate from point databases to a unified, scalable Postgres-based solution.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in enterprise technology sales or equivalent.
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork with account executives, platform, application, and data teams.
- Understanding of operational data foundations, databases, and cloud data platforms; knowledge of Postgres is a plus.
- Excellent communication and ability to articulate Lakebase value to customers.
