About the Role Laborer II is a hands-on field role with BrandSafway in Midland, TX, supporting dirt work and material handling on industrial sites. This position involves operating basic equipment, performing labor tasks, and traveling as needed on a roughly 3 weeks on / 7 days off schedule. What You'll Do
- Basic construction site manual labor, dirt work, equipment operation, and routine maintenance
- Move equipment to job sites, offload materials, and install materials per design
- Follow Foreman lead on job site setup and cleanup; operate trucks and heavy equipment safely
- Operate: backhoe, trencher, mini excavator, and forklift; training provided
- Perform routine/preventative maintenance and inspection on equipment; maintain accurate paperwork
- Travel up to 90% of the time; typical schedule is 3 weeks on, 7 days off What We're Looking For
- Class A CDL with acceptable driving record; minimum 1 year construction/field experience
- Ability to pass DOT drug test and physical; knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers and trucks
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather; minimum age 21; ability to lift 75 lbs
- Willingness to work long hours (12-hour shifts) and be part of a team; ability to travel extensively and reside within 60 miles of the Midland office preferred Nice to Have
- Experience operating heavy equipment: backhoe, trencher, mini excavator, forklift Compensation & Benefits
