Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for a Laboratory Technician in Houston, TX. This role will be responsible for completing laboratory testing to support client sales and product line management. This role requires experience working in a chemical/industrial laboratory, preferably in the oil and gas industry. The candidate should have 1-3 years of experience with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Location: Houston, TX Shift: M-F 8-5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and complete routine project assignments under supervision
• Contribute to the completion of technical projects
• Process incoming materials to be used in testing, including water, hydrocarbon, and rock samples
• Conduct testing and experiments using equipment in adherence to all standard laboratory operating procedures
• Use lab software for data analysis, reporting, and equipment operation under supervision
• Maintain accurate data and reports of experiments, research, and analytical testing
• Effectively record data in lab notebooks and/or electronic format
• Document results in standardized written reports
• Properly handle and store chemicals and dispose of all waste per laboratory procedures under supervision

Education and Experience:

• Associate- or Bachelor-level degree in Chemistry or a related field or 1-3 years of experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or related discipline
