Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Type: Temporary 12 months

Salary: £24,758 pa plus Shift Allowance

Location: Cambridge

Hours: 1 x Sunday (12:00-22:00), Monday - Wednesday (11:30-22:00) 1 x Wednesday-Friday (11:30-22:00) Saturday (12:00-22:00)

Industry: Health & Nutrition, Food Role overview:

Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGS-approved SOPs.

Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff.

Maintain organized, auditable laboratory records.

Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output.

Maintain a safe working environment, following Health & Safety protocols
Qualifications
-
The ideal candidate would be from a food process driven background such as fast food restaurants or food manufacturing. No previous lab experience or degree is required!

Experience in working with food and fast paced environments
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance.

Proactive approach to learning and development.
