About the Role ALS Food & Pharmaceutical Division operates a modern laboratory in Rydalmere, Sydney. We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Microbiology team, where we strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time and maintaining strong client relationships. This is a permanent, full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule from 10:45am to 7:00 PM, with potential overtime as required.
What You'll Do
- Perform microbiological testing including Food, Pharmaceutical and/or Water sample preparation and testing
- Conduct extraction procedures and tasks per ALS Quality Work Instructions, ensuring QA/QC compliance
- Organize tasks for daily efficiency and meet set timelines and standards
- Report anomalies in results or samples to Supervisor
- Maintain accurate and timely laboratory records and documentation
