About the Role ALS Geochemistry in Malaga is seeking Laboratory Technicians to join our Spectroscopy team, which is committed to delivering high-quality results on time. This is a full-time position responsible for the operation and calibration of ICPMS, ICPOES and/or AAS instrumentation. The role begins on day shift during training with a weekly rotating roster that includes day and afternoon shifts and occasional weekend work.
What You'll Do
- Analysis of samples using ICPMS, ICPOES and/or AAS instrumentation
- Perform instrument/equipment calibration and maintenance as required
- Troubleshooting of instrument and quality issues
- Ensuring client turnaround times are met
- After training, work autonomously
- Other duties as the role progresses
