Job title: Laboratory Engineer
We are seeking a Laboratory Engineer at ContiTech Hungary to lead product testing activities and support test benches. The role focuses on customer contact, test execution, documentation and presentation of results, as well as calibration, safety and efficiency improvements.
What You'll Do
- Act as the main customer contact for product testing
- Execute tests, document results, and present findings
- Develop and assess test methods to map customer requirements
- Provide technical support for assigned test benches and infrastructure
- Perform and monitor maintenance and repairs
- Participate in cost-reduction projects with PPI, production and QA
- Contribute to occupational safety and infrastructure improvements in test technology
- Calibrate measuring devices on test benches
- Support the product testing team lead
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a certified engineer; knowledge of vehicle technology and engine technology
- Elastomer components and their service life behavior
- Experience with customer expectations in testing technology
- Self-driven, structured, and organized
- Very good communication skills and advanced English (speaking and writing)
Nice to Have
- Relevant professional experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Project experience is an advantage
- Intercultural / International experience is an advantage
