KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare laboratories for Physics practical lessons and experiments.
- Set up, test, and dismantle laboratory apparatus and equipment before and after practical sessions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Assist teachers during practical classes, demonstrations, and examinations.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety rules and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of laboratory materials, equipment usage, and inventory.
- Report damaged or faulty equipment promptly.
- Support procurement and storage of laboratory materials and consumables.
- Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper organisation of the laboratory.
- Assist in conducting internal and external practical examinations.
REQUIREMENTS
- NCE or ND in Physics, Science Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
- A Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and scientific equipment.
- Ability to work effectively with teachers and students.
- Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a school or laboratory environment will be an advantage.
