About the Role Eskom is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support the execution of chemical analyses in the laboratory, while promoting safety, quality and cost effectiveness. The role requires adherence to ISO standards and effective use of LIMS, working within Eskom policies and procedures. What You'll Do
- Plan, organize workflow and perform analysis.
- Contribute to safety, health and quality in the laboratory.
- Contribute to the cost effectiveness of the laboratory.
- Assist the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with Eskom policies and established standards (ISO 17025, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, LIMS). What We're Looking For

- Knowledge of basic laboratory management, quality systems (ISO 17025), and relevant standards, LIMS, and legislation; SAIT transformer course; Eskom policies.
- Analytical chemistry skills; computer literate; oil/water chemistry analysis; customer relations; sampling of various media; basic financial understanding; presentation. Nice to Have
- SAIT transformer course (preferred).
