The Labor Representative will support CNA/NNU in representing nurses, handling collective bargaining matters, grievances, contract negotiations, and data-driven issue resolution. Based in San Jose, CA, this role requires extensive travel to hospital facilities to build power and advance healthcare justice.
What You'll Do
- Handle all matters related to collective bargaining
- Compile, analyze, interpret, and present pertinent data
- Assist in contract negotiations
- Process grievances and conduct arbitrations
- Represent nurses in employment-related problems
- Travel extensively to cover hospital facilities
- What We're Looking For
- Creative methods of addressing workplace issues to build power
- Experience with collective bargaining
- Grievance handling and arbitration
- Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present pertinent data
- Nice to Have
- Insatiable work ethic and drive to create systemic change
- Demonstrated success in contract enforcement
- Prior experience as a full-time Labor Representative is a plus
- Effectiveness in organizing membership participation
- Ability to develop rank-and-file leadership

- Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience, $70,332 – $188,796
