What You Will Do
- Manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour cases.
- Take ownership of discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and conducting depositions.
- Work closely with clients to provide strategic counsel on a wide range of employment issues, including drafting policies and employee handbooks.
- Draft and argue motions, prepare for hearings, and represent clients in court and before administrative agencies like the EEOC.
- Advise employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Contribute to a busy and growing practice group with a steady stream of sophisticated work.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a strong litigation background.
- Admission to the Colorado bar is required.
- Proven experience in drafting pleadings and motions, as well as managing litigation processes.
- Ability to provide strategic advice to clients on employment-related issues and compliance matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
Preferred
- Experience working with a diverse client base across various industries.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Prior experience in a busy law firm environment, handling multiple cases simultaneously.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $165K to $190K, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise. This company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional development of its team members.
