About the Role The Labeling Operations Team Lead oversees the artwork team located in AIN and is accountable for leading artwork creation and reviews as part of Life Cycle Management (LCM). The role ensures compliance with artwork processes and regulatory requirements, providing operational oversight to enable efficient execution and timely artwork approvals to support business needs.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team responsible for the artwork creation and reviews as part of Life Cycle Management (LCM). Support other artwork activities as needed per business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and governance processes, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies in collaboration with Early-Stage Development and other functions.
• Provide artwork (technical) support to the team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce cycle times, and improve overall delivery, preferably through automation and cutting-edge technology.
• Oversee Amgen Artwork Automation processes and related activities.
• Partner closely with the Artwork Planning Team to ensure timelines are met.
• Where needed, support the global team with executional work.
• Collaborate with IS team to establish inventory of software applications used by the artwork team, manage procurement of licenses, track IS system issues and resolutions, and anticipate upgrades to ensure delivery is not negatively impacted.
• Develop a pool of talent and provide coaching and growth opportunities for staff.
• Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging among staff, peers and stakeholders.
• Encourage an innovative mindset and enhance problem-solving capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design (or equivalent).
• 6-10 years of work experience in artwork lifecycle management, packaging, or labeling operations within a regulated environment (preferably GMP).
• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in managing teams.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
