About this role
Lab Assistant/Peer Mentor supporting Villanova's 937-FCN Simulation & LRC. This student position provides hands-on lab support with simulation equipment and mentorship to peers, with 2-10 hours per week and scheduling built around class commitments. Multiple positions are available for Summer and Fall/Spring 2026-27 on campus.
What You'll Do
- Assist with lifting/moving full body sized mannequins in excess of 25 lbs, medical equipment, beds, tables, carts, and audiovisual equipment.
- Provide general lab support and peer mentoring as needed; maintain a safe and organized simulation environment.
- Coordinate with lab staff to align with class schedules and ensure availability for required shifts.
- Upload two references from clinical faculty to the application.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled Villanova student (on-campus) with ability to work on campus.
- Eligible for work-study preferred but open to all students.
- Availability 2-10 hours per week; willing to work during Summer 2026 and/or Fall/Spring 2026-27; on-campus availability required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual dexterity tasks; ability to lift/move equipment over 25 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage Rate: $10.00 per hour.
