Job title: Lab Analyst
About the Role As Lab Analyst you will be part of our Quality department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. The position will be based in Crespellano (BO). A key responsibility is to apply well-defined methods and work instructions to perform routine analyses and technical activities to ensure that all raw materials, semi-finished and finished products are appropriately analyzed and monitored. You will ensure that instruments are calibrated for accuracy, precision and reliability of the analysis. You will also carry out calibration and/or calibration verification and collaborative tests on instruments and materials (Raw Materials, Finished Goods and semi-finished) to monitor their performance.
What You'll Do
- Execute quality plans and perform physical/chemical tests on raw materials, semi-finished and finished products to ensure that they are appropriately analyzed and monitored.
- Apply well-defined methods and work instructions to perform routine analyses and technical activities on raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
- Ensure that instruments are calibrated for accuracy, precision and reliability of the analysis; carry out calibration and calibration verification and collaborative tests on instruments and materials (Raw Materials, Finished Goods and semi-finished) to monitor their performance.
- Be part of the Quality department focused on ensuring product quality and compliance at Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in laboratory analysis and quality control, with ability to perform physical and chemical tests.
- Familiarity with instrument calibration, calibration verification, and monitoring instrument performance.
- Strong attention to accuracy, precision and reliability of analytical results.
- Ability to follow well-defined methods and work instructions and to apply them to raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
- Based in or able to work onsite in the Bologna area (Crespellano, BO).
