About the Role Logan Health's Medical Center Laboratory is hiring a Lab Aide Processor to join the Kalispell, MT team. This role supports daily laboratory operations and offers training if you don't have prior lab experience, focusing on customer service and accurate specimen handling. What You'll Do
- Receive and handle various specimen types, including urine, microbiology samples, swabs, surgical specimens, and blood.
- Verify labeling accuracy and relabel specimens when necessary.
- Distribute specimens to appropriate laboratory departments for testing.
- Answer phones and provide courteous, timely customer service. What We're Looking For
- Prior healthcare or lab experience is preferred, but not required; training will be provided.
- Comfortable working in a laboratory environment and handling specimens, including urine and blood samples.
- Current CPR certification per assigned area(s).
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other software.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter with critical thinking, able to set priorities and work as part of a team or independently.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism. Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
