About the Role As an L3 Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining and evolving complex network environments. You will be responsible for lifecycle management, daily operations (L2/L3 support), documentation, and monitoring to ensure optimal performance and availability. What You'll Do
- Perform lifecycle management: support and execute maintenance on network hardware and software.
- Provide L2/L3 support and resolve complex incidents in daily operations.
- Create and maintain network documentation: diagrams, configurations, and work instructions.
- Implement and monitor (automated) network processes to ensure performance and availability. What We're Looking For
- Technical skills: broad knowledge of DCLAN networking technologies (switching, routing, security).
- Experience with ISIS, MP-BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst networking products.
- Cisco CCNP-DC (strong plus).
- Juniper JNCIP-DC (plus).
- Knowledge/experience with Juniper SRX firewalls (plus).
- Experience with virtual networks and/or VMware NSX (plus).
- Experience with network management tools and automation.
- Personal: proactive, results-driven, eager to learn, able to collaborate in a team.
- Dutch language proficiency (minimum B2).
- Dutch citizenship. Nice to Have
