About the Role ANDRITZ Hydropower in Weiz is seeking a Konstrukteur (m/w/d) Synchronous Condenser Anlagen to plan, design and coordinate mechanical systems for Synchronous Condenser projects. The role involves integration of subsystems, development of layouts and documentation, and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with standards and contribute to the energy transition.
What You'll Do
- Planning, design and coordination of Synchronous Condenser systems
- Integration of mechanical subsystems: cooling, lubrication, and auxiliary systems into the overall layout
- Creation of plant layouts, technical detail drawings and bill of materials, and plant documentation
- Collaboration with internal engineering teams, suppliers, installation crews and customers
- Ensuring compliance with national standards, safety regulations and environmental requirements
- Analysis of commissioning issues and implementation of technical improvements
What We're Looking For
- Completed technical education (HTL) or degree in mechanical engineering
- First professional experience (advantageous)
- Desirable knowledge of Siemens NX and SAP
- Knowledge of machine drawing and CAD
- Very good German and English skills
- Willingness to travel about 20%
