Job title: Kitchen Back of House Team Member
About the Role Join the Lepp Farm Market kitchen back of house to help package soups, pot pies and meals for grab–n–go and retail, supporting a team-focused approach. This full-time role includes weekend availability and opportunities to grow cooking skills while serving guests.
What You'll Do
- Package food for grab n’ go & retail (soups, meals, pot pies, etc).
- Assist kitchen team with daily food prep: preparing, washing & chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and mixing ingredients.
- Follow direction and task list for the day; work independently and in a team.
- Store food properly; operate food processing equipment; weigh and label product; assess food item quantities & quality.
- Maintain attention to detail and organize efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Full-time role with weekend and weekday availability.
- Cook Level One is an asset, but not required.
- Food Safe Level One required.
- Relevant experience is helpful, but we’re more interested in keen learners who genuinely love interacting with people and cooking good food.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have
- Cook Level One certification (asset).
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage band: $18.25-$20/hour.
