Job Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and organized Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining proper hygiene standards. The successful candidate will help ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly and that food is handled safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation.

Wash, peel, cut, and arrange ingredients as required.

Clean kitchen utensils, equipment, countertops, and work areas.

Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items.

Assist with receiving and arranging food supplies.

Store ingredients properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.

Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.

Assist with serving or plating meals when necessary.

Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately.

Report damaged equipment, low stock, or other kitchen concerns.

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum of a secondary school certificate is an advantage.

Previous kitchen or food service experience is beneficial.
