Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: Chef
Job Purpose
- To support the Chef and kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, organisation, and general kitchen duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients.
- Assist the Chef with food preparation.
- Arrange and store food items properly.
- Clean kitchen utensils, work surfaces, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Assist with receiving and organising kitchen supplies.
- Support proper food storage and labelling.
- Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately.
- Assist with setting up the kitchen before service.
- Ensure kitchen supplies and ingredients are readily available.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Chef or Manager.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good hygiene habits.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
