Job title: Kids Express/Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (PRN)
About the Role The Kids Express/Urgent Care APP provides pediatric urgent care for patients from birth to 21 years old. The APP may practice independently or in collaboration with pediatricians, following established protocols to deliver cost-effective, quality, developmentally appropriate care.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and examinations for patients from birth to 21 years old.
- Develop diagnoses and initiate, reinforce, and adjust plans of care and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate the plan of care; revise as needed; initiate consultations or referrals when appropriate.
- Practice independently and/or in collaboration with pediatricians in the urgent care setting.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced education and professional training as a Nurse Practitioner/APP with pediatric focus.
- Ability to practice independently and/or in collaboration with pediatricians in urgent care.
- Experience or comfort delivering care to pediatric patients birth through 21 in an urgent care environment; knowledge of pediatric protocols.
Compensation & Benefits
- Part-time position; 8-hour shifts.
