The Assistant Store Manager (PT) at GUESS? Retail is based at 801 E 103rd St, Jenks, OK 74137. This role supports delivering an exceptional customer experience, developing the store team, and upholding store standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom, while leading by example.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coach store associates to ensure they complete training per company guidelines, build product knowledge, and enhance selling skills and customer service.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, provide ongoing feedback and coaching, and maintain visual merchandising standards and overall store cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained consistently through regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up with the team.
- Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in areas such as sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
- Meet payroll requirements and control company assets through loss prevention measures.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Use sound judgment in decision-making, communicate effectively, act with integrity and respect, adapt to business changes, manage multiple tasks, and complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- A proven track record of driving sales and profit, developing people, and/or succession planning, with a rating of TD or better.
- Minimum of two years’ experience with demonstrated success in driving sales and profit and in training and developing a team.
- Proficiency with personal computers and the ability to perform detailed report analysis.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Some heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds.
- Scheduled shifts may require standing for a minimum of eight hours.
