About the Role This is a strategic sales role serving as the central interface between Lear and BMW Group, focusing on the commercial success of Lear E‑Systems in zones and vehicle domain controllers, low- and high-voltage power distribution, and energy management systems. You will address all propulsion technologies—from conventional to alternative to future mobility forms. What You'll Do
- Serve as the central interface between Lear and the BMW Group, representing customer interests across the organization.
- Take holistic responsibility for ongoing projects—from pre-series through serial production to aftermarket.
- Own the commercial aspects of the BMW relationship, including profitability, revenue growth, and quarterly/annual forecasts aligned with volumes and Lear budgets.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive BMW account strategy to achieve internal financial targets, including measures to recover inflation-driven costs, with a clear focus on securing new growth and acquisition projects.
- Drive acquisition and RFQ projects in close collaboration with development, program management, and the international production network—coordinating requirements, contract review, bid tracking, and negotiation.
- Conduct commercial change management for technical product and change requests.
- Plan and conduct customer visits at various management and project levels in a systematic, strategic manner.
- Manage business development through variances analysis, competitive monitoring, and gathering customer data for sales and marketing planning. What We're Looking For
- A technically oriented or business-focused degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales/key account management with the BMW Group, ideally in direct market or Lear's competitive environment.
- Foundational to advanced knowledge in sales, procurement, product management, production, or quality management for electrical/electronic assemblies.
- Goal-oriented, analytical, and negotiation-savvy; comfortable with complex commercial negotiations in a global environment; strong cost-analysis and disclosure knowledge with OEMs.
- Proactive, autonomous, solution- and team-focused; willingness to leverage existing decision-making freedom.
- Ability to analyze complex and dynamic tasks in a structured, solution-oriented way.
- Very strong communication in German and English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Enjoy active customer interaction and building long-term, trust-based partnerships.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Nice to Have
