Are you passionate about animal care and looking to make a difference in a supportive, team-oriented environment? Mission Valley Pet Clinic is seeking a dependable, compassionate Kennel Technician to join our dedicated team!

About Us: Mission Valley Pet Clinic has proudly served the Allied Gardens community for over 30 years. We are a trusted, long-standing small animal general practice focused on providing high-quality care and building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets.

Position Summary: As a Kennel Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, cleanliness, and safety of our patients during their stay with us. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who loves animals, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a busy, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Feeding and monitoring the well-being of pets in our care
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kennel and hospital environment
  • Bathing pets and assisting with basic grooming as needed
  • Assisting veterinary staff with patient handling and restraint
  • Monitoring for signs of illness or stress and reporting to medical staff
  • Providing compassionate, gentle handling to all animals

Qualifications

  • Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift

  • Weekends and Holidays are a must.

  • Compensation: $17.75-$18.00/Hr
