Junior UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a talented Junior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic design team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing existing digital interfaces and creating new components using Figma, ensuring they align perfectly with our design system. You will also contribute to smaller design projects and handle on-demand requests, playing a key part in improving user experience and product usability.

Your responsibilities will include developing UI/UX solutions, meticulously crafting pixel-perfect designs, and incorporating user feedback to refine the overall experience. You will also be involved in structuring Figma files, auditing design system implementation, and building project-specific components. Following current design, technology, and market trends will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide UI/UX solutions based on specific requirements
• Ensure designs are pixel-perfect and corresponding with the design system
• Iterate and incorporate customer feedback into the design to enhance user experience
• Structure Figma files and audit design system implementation
• Build project-specific components based on provided design solutions and the design system
• Design, document, and improve UI components for the design system
• Provide on-demand help on different design requests across multiple projects
• Follow design, technology, and market trends

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a UI/UX designer

• Good knowledge of UI principles and laws

• Advanced to excellent skills in Figma

• Knowledge and experience in working with and building design systems

• Strong attention to detail and strive for consistency

• Collaborative mindset and empathy for users and teammates

• Self-directed, organised, and proactive

• Strong team player who can collaborate effectively within different teams and stakeholders

• Adaptable to shifting priorities and meeting short deadlines

• Fluency in English

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS)

• Knowledge of responsive design

• Knowledge of accessibility standards

• Prior experience with handling E2E projects

• Collaboration with developers

• Basic knowledge of Design Thinking
