Job title: Junior SAP OTC Business Analyst

About the Role Join Cognex as a Junior SAP OTC Business Analyst focused on SAP Order to Cash processes. You will work with senior analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize SAP solutions, gaining exposure to integrated business processes and enterprise systems. This role provides growth in SAP OTC and cross-functional exposure.

What You'll Do

  • Support the configuration and maintenance of SAP OTC processes (order management, pricing, billing, and accounts receivable).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand OTC integration with SD, FI, and MM modules.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
  • Support integration activities with third-party systems (e.g., tax engines and invoicing platforms) under senior guidance.
  • Participate in system testing cycles (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) and help validate outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot basic system issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and support optimization initiatives.
  • Document process flows, configuration details, and user guides; assist in data validation, migration activities, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance, and standard processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions and workshops to build business and technical knowledge.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in SAP OTC or related functional areas.
  • Basic understanding of SAP OTC processes (order management, billing, invoicing, AR).
  • Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and FI modules.
  • Exposure to pricing, billing, or customer master data concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within SAP and business process domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • SAP certification or relevant coursework is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments or implementations.
  • Basic knowledge of third-party integrations (e.g., tax engines, invoicing tools).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Understanding of financial processes such as accounts receivable and general ledger basics.
