Junior Program Control Analyst

About the Role Junior Program Control Analyst on the Satellite systems team at the Montreal office. The role focuses on lower level / less complex projects and assisting more senior PP&C staff to develop and maintain project performance baselines and provide reliable financial and performance status reports to enable proactive corrections and maintain project profitability. What You'll Do

• General Departmental & organizational tasks (PP&C processes; update weekly/monthly/quarterly reports; utilize ERP-LN and internal systems) and ensure data consistency across reports.
• Planning (30%): assist contract award activities, create awarded projects in ERP-LN, help evaluate reporting level/methodology for the project, assist in creating WBS and cost accounts, help develop the Project Schedule, establish the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), and implement Earned Value for progress assessment.
• Control (60%): maintain the program Baseline with approved change scopes, monitor detailed costs & schedules (C/S) regularly, establish forecasts and estimates at completion, provide detailed cost/schedule variance analysis and EV-based performance indices, identify issues and support corrective actions, prepare monthly reporting packages (PAM, EAC Delta Report), and monitor milestones, procurement, manpower, risks, and reserves. Provide support to other departments and data for metrics reports. Support Project Closure activities. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor of Commerce or Sciences (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience related to Project Management or similar financial responsibilities and experience with ERP tools.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; basic understanding of project management; good cost accounting abilities and understanding of basic finance principles.
• General computer skills (Microsoft applications, especially Excel); basic understanding of contract terms and their relation to project accounting and planning.
• Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken); good communication skills; ability to work with some independence and interact with senior PP&C, project managers, project team, and other departments.
• Solution-oriented with attention to detail; ability to convey PMCS information clearly; presentation skills are an asset. Nice to Have
