About the Role
Java Design Concept Limited, a construction company with over 20 years of industry experience, is seeking a Junior Procurement Officer to support supplier sourcing, purchasing, and procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source suppliers and obtain quotations for required materials and services.
- Compare prices and assist in selecting suitable suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Verify deliveries against approved orders with relevant personnel.
- Assist with price negotiations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organisational and numerical skills.
- Honesty, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
