Job title: Junior Process Engineer - Manufacturing
About the Role Koch IP Holdings, LLC is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to focus on reducing COPQ and improving POEE while supporting continuous improvement on production processes. The role also supports flawless product launches, maintains and optimizes operator work instructions and training materials, and executes design process engineer strategies with hands-on involvement during product launches and line ramp-ups.
What You'll Do
- Focus on reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improving Process Overall Equipment Effectiveness (POEE), while supporting continuous improvement initiatives on production processes.
- Support flawless product launches for new product development or capacity expansion by ensuring seamless handover of process, tooling, line setup, and production information.
- Maintain and optimize operator Work Instructions (WI) and training documents aligned with the manufacturing strategy for mass production; assist production teams in monitoring compliance.
- Execute the strategy outlined by Design Process Engineers (DPEs), with hands-on activities during product launch, tooling ramp-up, and production line ramp-up.
- Support production line debugging, engineering document preparation and control, new product introduction (NPI), and other tasks assigned by the supervisor or mentors.
What We're Looking For
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or above in an engineering-related discipline; preferred degrees include Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, Automation, Electronic Information Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- WORK EXPERIENCE: Fresh graduate with an engineering background; internship or project experience in manufacturing, process engineering, product launch, or production support is preferred; knowledge of cable materials, signal integrity, production line debugging, engineering documentation, or NPI is a plus.
- SKILLS & ABILITIES: Engineering mindset with a basic understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes; clear logical thinking and strong problem analysis and problem-solving capability; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint); good communication and coordination skills; willingness to work hands-on on the production floor; good English capability (reading, writing, speaking; CET-4 or above preferred).
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of cable materials, signal integrity (SI), tooling, process validation, or NPI activities is preferred.
