Responsibilities

Direct all transportation activities

Develop and manage relationships with clients

Provide valuable and forward-thinking process to continually improve service performance

Develop policies and procedures for the company
-
Monitor the general operations of staff to make sure that their operations are within the guidelines, safety measures, government orders, and administrative policies
-
Develop and implement plans that will lead to improvement in company profit
-
Work closely with the Logistics Supervisor and the Drivers
-
Recruit, train, and coach competent transportation staff
-
Manage the negotiation of vendor contracts and other purchases
-
Monitor and reduce business costs
-
Oversee all activities of the team to ensure the monthly and annual targets are achieved
-
Conduct monthly reviews for the transportation team
-
Review and verify monthly salaries for the team
-
Make recommendations for the acquisition of new equipment or the replacement of old ones
-
Take charge of investigations that look into customer complaints with regard to general service delivery
-
Prepare and present weekly update and report on the status of the business to a Director and Board of Directors quarterly
-
Prepare a realistic annual budget and business plan for the company

Requirements and Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related courses
-
A deep understanding of operations and marketing principles
-
Good Analytical Skill
-
Must be thorough, motivated, enthusiastic, ambitious, and confident
-
A positive attitude and great Negotiation skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
-
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
-
Minimum typing speed of 40WPM
