About the Role You’ll join Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects as a Junior M&O Project Manager supporting K-12 and ANS Health & Public Service initiatives. This onsite role focuses on planning, coordinating, processing, and expediting construction, modernization, installation, and repair projects for schools and administrative facilities, helping deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure. You’ll work with project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed. Onsite at client sites in Los Angeles, CA, you’ll build relationships with clients and partners while delivering results. What You'll Do
- Assist in planning, coordinating, processing, and expediting construction, modernization, installation, and repair projects for schools and administrative facilities.
- Serve as a liaison among project management units, maintenance and operations, environmental consultants, and abatement contractors.
- Review RFAs with technical staff to define scope of work and evaluate project drawings.
- Conduct funding reviews, coordinate with accounting, and prepare funding request packages.
- Plan and track project progress, including monitoring and reporting labor charges.
- Request and evaluate cost proposals from environmental consultants for accuracy and feasibility.
- Estimate and manage costs for asbestos and lead abatement projects.
- Initiate and administer asbestos abatement, lead remediation, A&B, Task Order, and JOC contracts.
- Coordinate and schedule abatement activities to support demolitions, renovations, and temporary occupancy arrangements.
- Review contractor submittals, daily logs, and certified payroll for invoice approval.
- Analyze scope changes and assess the validity of change orders and cost increases.
- Support project closeout, certification efforts, and oversee bid processing and contract awards.
- Attend job start meetings to review safety requirements and ensure documentation and communication with project stakeholders. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or environmental science (or equivalent work experience); substitution by experience considered.
- Minimum of 3 years full-time professional experience in project/construction management of educational facility or public agency projects, involved in all phases from pre-construction to close-out.
- Experience in educational facility construction or public agency projects (preferred). Nice to Have
- Experience in safety construction protocols, Cal OSHA requirements and environmental procedures.
- Maximo Asset and Work Management system experience. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $114,000 - $126,000 per year (USD), depending on location, role, skill set, and experience.
