Job title: Junior Engineer- Production manager
About the Role Nutreco is seeking a Production Manager to lead and optimize plant operations at the Pinto, Madrid site. You will drive safe, high-quality and efficient production, manage multi-shift operations and develop the manufacturing team to support our purpose of Feeding the Future.
What You'll Do
- Manage all operational and production activities in the plant, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency standards.
- Integrate multi-shift operations, coordinating human and technical teams for continuity, production balance and resource optimization.
- Establish shift schedules, ensure requisition of materials and ingredients, and coordinate production with Supply Chain, Maintenance, Logistics, Warehouse and Customer Service.
- Select, organize, train and motivate Shift Supervisors, Team Leaders, Operators and occasionally support staff.
- Monitor daily operations, correct deviations and ensure safety, quality, service and cost objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement and a culture of operational excellence in the plant.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural or similar with a production focus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial production environments.
- English level B2.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate plant operations.
- Results-oriented with attention to detail and decision-making ability.
