About the Role

We are seeking a driven Junior Energy Broker to manage a portfolio of energy products and build relationships with East Asia accounts, with a focus on opportunities in the China market. The role includes training in energy brokerage and delivering execution and clearing services while contributing to Marex's energy franchise across Asia.

What You'll Do

• Engage in trading energy commodities, focusing on products tailored for China market companies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, hedge funds, trading houses, and corporates in the Chinese market.
• Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure ongoing relationship management.
• Assist in client communication, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
• Develop strategies to increase profit and growth by analyzing market trends and products.
• Contribute to process improvements and assist in the development of new frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations and Technology, to support trading functions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including those set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
• Uphold high standards of integrity and professionalism in line with company values and policies.
• The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time.
