Junior Controller (m/w/d)

About the Role Join Gerresheimer Lohr as a Junior Controller (m/w/d). In this role you will support the financial control processes at the Lohr site, including monthly and annual closings, budgeting/forecasting, and management reporting. You will work in a manufacturing environment producing packaging glass for pharma/consumer health and food/beverage sectors, contributing to cost control, KPI development, and business partnering. What You'll Do

• Assist with timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Support monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare management reporting and analyses for the management team.
• Perform Soll-Ist comparisons and variance analyses in cost and performance accounting.
• Help determine and maintain business KPIs (e.g., revenue profitability, liquidity, productivity).
• Support financial, liquidity and budgeting planning and forecasts.
• Independently review ongoing routine KPIs.
• Maintain and develop controlling instruments.
• Advise departments on business-related questions per guidelines and participate in cross-functional meetings. What We're Looking For
• Completed studies in economics/finance (BWL, Finance, Industrial Engineering or comparable).
• Initial practical experience in controlling or finance (e.g., as working student or internships).
• Understanding of operational controlling, especially monthly and annual closings and cost accounting.
• Familiarity with KPI systems and BWA.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; SAP CO/FI knowledge is advantageous.
• Fluent German and English (spoken and written).
• Analytical thinking and strong numerical skills.
• Structured, independent, and reliable work style; strong communication and teamwork.
• Flexibility and confident demeanor in cross-department contexts.
