Junior Contracts Administrator

Location: Herndon/Reston, VA (Hybrid)

Overview

The Brite Group is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Junior Contracts Administrator to support the full contract lifecycle across federal and commercial programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced small‑business environment, enjoys working with federal agencies, and is ready to grow into a senior contracts role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, review, and management of NDAs, TAs, CTAs, and JVs.

  • Maintain contract agreements between Brite and federal agencies, partners, and subcontractors.

  • Assist with contract modifications, updates, and communication with federal POCs.

  • Track and manage contract budgets, burn rates, forecasts, and indirect rate calculations.

  • Support cradle‑to‑grave administration of GSA contracts (eBuy, OASIS+, Polaris, STARS III 8(a)).

  • Coordinate with accounting to prepare and upload monthly invoices through IPP.

  • Provide pricing support to proposal teams, including TAs, workshare, and pricing strategy.

  • Maintain organized contract files, compliance documentation, and audit‑ready records.

  • Work closely with leadership to ensure timely execution of contract actions and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in federal contract administration (small‑business experience preferred).

  • Familiarity with GSA schedules, contract modifications, and federal procurement processes.

  • Basic understanding of contract budgets, indirect rates, and financial tracking.

  • Strong communication skills when working with federal POCs, partners, and internal teams.

  • Experience with IPP, government portals, or procurement systems is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Procas accounting or similar government accounting software is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain strict attention to detail.
