Junior Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Function Summary The Junior Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for supporting and participating in improvement initiatives related to production and administrative processes by utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques. This role collaborates closely with the Continuous Improvement Engineer and Value Stream Manager to drive improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. The Junior Engineer contributes to 6S initiatives, assists in Kaizen events, helps standardize processes, and supports the implementation of metrics to track improvements and cost reductions. This position provides an opportunity to develop technical and problem-solving skills while gaining experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
Major Areas of Accountability
- Work closely with the Value Stream Manager and Continuous Improvement team to support initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Assist in the initiation, implementation, and follow-up of continuous improvement projects under supervision.
