About the Role This role will work closely with Associate and Senior Associate in handling clients and the various aspects of IP law, including research, drafting legal documents, and managing IP portfolios. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in intellectual property law and contribute to the success of our clients. What You'll Do
- Work with Associate and Senior Associate to support clients across IP law areas, including research, drafting, and portfolio management.
- Conduct thorough IP legal research on intellectual property laws, regulations, and precedents; stay updated with developments to provide accurate and insightful guidance.
- Assist Associates and Senior Associates in providing legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of IP-related issues.
- Draft and review a range of legal documents, such as trademark applications, copyright registrations, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and legal memoranda; ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal standards.
- Assist in IP portfolio management, including IP audits and monitoring of portfolios for renewals and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the team on business development efforts, including attending industry events and assisting in the preparation of proposals.
- Perform legal research and analysis to support the team's understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices within the IP space. What We're Looking For
- Interest in intellectual property law and ability to work closely with Associates and Senior Associates.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Experience drafting and reviewing IP-related documents (trademarks, copyrights, licensing agreements, NDAs, memoranda).
- Ability to assist with IP portfolio management, including audits and monitoring.
- Team-oriented with good communication and client-service mindset.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a willingness to contribute to business development. Nice to Have
- Experience or interest in drafting and filing trademark applications, copyright registrations, and IP licensing agreements.
