Junior Account Manager - Bilingual Mandarin

Eightcap
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Posted Oct 6, 2026
Full-time

About this role

Eightcap operates at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and global financial markets. Headquartered in Melbourne with a global footprint spanning the UK, Cyprus, and Bulgaria, we build the high-performance infrastructure that connects the world to CFD markets - reliably, securely and with precision.

We are seeking a Junior Account Manager to support Eightcap’s growth by helping convert leads into active traders and expanding our footprint within the Chinese-speaking market. This is an early-career role: you will work alongside experienced Account Managers, learn the full lead-to-client journey, and take on more ownership as you grow, with training and support from the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Conversion & Pipeline Growth: Follow up on warm leads and help convert them into active traders, working towards agreed monthly KPIs and targets with guidance from senior team members.

  • Educational Support: Start by guiding clients on how to use Eightcap’s trading platforms and tools (such as account set-up, platform navigation and basic features), and gradually assist with preparing and delivering educational materials, webinars and seminars (online and offline) as your experience grows.

  • Lead Management: Help build and manage a robust pipeline, keeping lead records accurate and up to date, and support relevant communication channels, including company social media accounts, in line with compliance guidelines.

  • Market Knowledge: Build a solid understanding of financial markets, and learn to clearly explain market news, trading products and Eightcap’s value proposition to a diverse audience.

  • Client Relationship Management: Provide a premium customer experience by handling feedback, requests and basic technical queries promptly and professionally, escalating to senior colleagues where needed.

  • Operational Excellence: Prioritise daily tasks and meet deadlines within a fast-paced team environment, helping ensure a seamless transition from lead to active client.

  • Internal & External Stakeholders: Work with internal teams, including Marketing, Compliance and Engineering, and support relationships with retail clients, wholesale traders and external vendors to help deliver a seamless end-to-end client experience.

  • Requirements

  • Native or professional fluency in Mandarin is required, along with good working English (spoken and written); Cantonese is highly regarded.

  • 0–2 years’ experience in client service, business development or a similar customer-facing role; recent graduates are welcome to apply.

  • A genuine interest in FX, CFDs and global financial markets, with a willingness to learn and the curiosity to connect market trends to client opportunities.

  • An interest in client acquisition and business development, with enthusiasm for building relationships and turning conversations into long-term clients.

  • A natural talent for engaging and persuading people, with strong communication skills, commercial instinct and the drive to win clients’ trust.

  • A results-driven, motivated professional with a passion for high performance and a commitment to delivering a premium client experience.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive problem solver who thinks analytically and stays calm under pressure.

  • A deep respect for diversity and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from multicultural backgrounds.

  • A coachable approach, with the initiative to ask questions, take feedback on board and grow quickly.

  • A background in telemarketing or professional call centres is considered a plus.

  • Benefits

  • We have built a performance-driven environment where you’re given the autonomy to drive change and the accountability to own the results. We provide a space for the ambitious, adaptable and collaborative to deliver outcomes that fuel our success while building the skills and experience that defines a career.

We also support you through:

  • Ongoing investment in your career development, including technical and professional training.
  • Wellness and lifestyle perks, such as monthly corporate massages.
  • Drinks every Friday.
  • Parental leave entitlements.
  • Staff referral bonus programme.
  • Annual flu vaccinations.
  • Purchased leave.
  • Novated leasing options for vehicle financing and management.
  • A great CBD location with easy access to public transport.
  • A multicultural, collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Being part of exciting new projects for the company.
  • Regular social activities.
  • Don’t check every box? Apply anyway. We value talent, grit, and the drive to execute over a perfect resume. If you’re ready to grow with us, we’re ready to meet you.
