We are currently hiring a JSOC Operator l to join our team embedded with our client in Redwood City, CA!
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position requires the Operator to use intelligence sources, internal and external assets, and open-source media to identify threats and provide timely and accurate information to company leadership. The Operator will identify and monitor viable hazards to employees, operations, global assets, and the brand, reporting these threats to the company’s leadership team, 24/7.
The JSOC Operator will use a set of emergency response procedures to manage critical incidents, provide clear assessment and reporting of the situation, and determine appropriate actions to resolve the incident. The threats and critical incidents that the Operator needs to track, disseminate, and manage include political instability, violence, travel alerts, health concerns, man-made or natural disasters, internal threats or technical failures. The JSOC Operator may also be tasked with assisting investigators by researching and compiling open-source information.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct continuous collection and review of open source information utilizing multiple systems and sources to detect potential threats.

Manage, coordinate, and disseminate crisis management information and directives during declared emergencies and/or preventative actions mitigating potential emergencies.

Act as a focal point for all threat-related information using all appropriate and available communications and systems.

Actively monitor travel safety and security of employees on a global, 24/7 basis.

Assist various internal teams by performing initial collection of intelligence points as requested.

Liaise closely with key partners to ensure purpose and scope of responsibilities in threat mitigation.

Identify threats and assist team members with providing a resolution of security incidents through analysis, investigations and prioritization of incidents based on risk/exposure.

Assist the operations team with travel booking and scheduling, particularly during non-regular business hours.

Be the first point of contact for incoming calls, clients, deliveries and requests to the Company and assist with administrative tasks when needed.

Work closely with Residential Security Teams to track daily incidents and roving patrol activity, and monitor camera systems across assigned properties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, international security, political science, or a related field.

Military service or prior experience working in a JSOC, GSOC or similar operations center may be substituted for educational requirements.
