About the Role Volt is hiring Jr. Computer Server Repair Techs in Fremont, CA. This role focuses on basic mechanical rework, component replacements, and assembly of server parts to keep hardware running and compliant with repair standards. What You'll Do
- Perform basic mechanical rework, parts replacement, and visual inspection of server components
- Perform component replacements, part swaps and re-assembly of server parts
- Follow standard repair flow and ensure correct material usage and documentation
- Handle defective parts and prepare for return to vendor or scrap as required
- Conduct basic visual checks and labeling verification after repair
- Assemble and rework parts on computer servers according to specs
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs What We're Looking For
- Basic understanding of PC / server hardware parts (memory, HDD, fans, power supplies etc.)
- Ability to follow work instructions step by step
- Electro-mechanical assembly and/or rework skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Able to pass criminal background check and drug screen Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $22.00 to $25.00 Per Hour DOE
