Job title: Journeyman Electrician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Macedonia, Ohio. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, while ensuring compliance with national and local codes and company standards. A safety-first mindset and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Ensure compliance with national/local codes and company standards.
- Work on projects at varying locations as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman or master Electrician license, 5+ years preferred.
- Comfortable with residential and/or commercial/industrial work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background and MVR check required.
- Ability to pass a drug test and pre-employment physical (if applicable).
- Preferred: reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- Additional training/fire alarm knowledge is a plus.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Knack for communication and team building.
- Positive attitude while seeing every project through to completion.
Nice to Have
- Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Fire alarm knowledge or related additional training.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour (weekly pay).
