Gucci Store Director | Frankfurt, Germany
The Gucci Store Director leads with strategic vision inside and outside the store, and is responsible for store results, people development and growth, client experience, and store operations. This role acts as a cross-functional leader, leveraging internal and external opportunities to optimize performance, ensure seamless store functionality, and uphold a world-class, luxury service culture. The Store Director embodies excellence, hospitality, and passion by role modeling Gucci’s values and client-centric approach.
Responsibilities
- Client Experience: lead the team in delivering superior, client-centric service and after-sales experiences to achieve consistently high client satisfaction. promote brand awareness, establish market and store presence, and expand market share through community outreach and company-sponsored events. foster collaboration among team members to drive cohesive clienteling activities and training. guide the development and execution of the company CRM initiatives, challenging the team to implement effective action plans and personalized future client development opportunities. partner with the Client Engagement team to pursue business development opportunities, focusing on a top-client strategy to retain and develop high-potential clients, with emphasis on the Top 100. champion the use of clienteling tools to drive loyalty and acquisition. oversee the client flow on the selling floor to ensure every client is addressed with exceptional service.
- Running the House: ensure adherence to company policies and procedures across Operations, People, and Security. manage stock levels by communicating with key departments to maximize full-price selling, maintain high sell-through, and align with new product launches. comply with Loss Prevention self-audits, monthly cycle counts, incident reporting, and inventory reconciliations to keep annual shrinkage below target. provide accurate monthly schedules and timely payroll submission for all employees. oversee incoming and outbound merchandise requests and shipments. support in-store After Sales services and maintain Visual Merchandising standards as directed by the Global VM team. ensure consistent adherence to health, safety, and security requirements. keep company assets organized in line with back-of-house and front-of-house guidelines. represent the Gucci image through appropriate wardrobe and grooming per company standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or a service-related field. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related area is preferred.
- Demonstrated ethics, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to inspire trust and influence a team.
- Strong analytical skills to read selling reports, identify trends, and respond quickly to business needs.
- Proven ability to deliver positive client experiences that build loyalty and yield measurable results.
- Capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Industry awareness, commercial knowledge, and strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong organizational skills.
- Passion for the fashion industry and flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
