Infineon Technologies is seeking a Staff Specialist in Application and Product Marketing for MCU and sensors, based in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on leading application business development and regional marketing strategy for cutting-edge MCU and sensor series, including Radar, Environmental, Magnetic, and Microphone technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead application business development and regional marketing strategy to drive sales of MCU and sensor products in collaboration with Infineon sales and product lines.
- Define and deploy the go-to-market strategy and coordinate its regional execution, focusing on key applications and customers.
- Conduct market analysis, assess the competitive landscape and identify product gaps. Build and present the sensors opportunity pipeline to Infineon’s executives.
- Coordinate with product lines, sales, and field application engineers to demonstrate Infineon’s value proposition and system solutions, driving adoption and business growth.
- Create market studies and models for relevant Infineon applications at the Level 2 tier.
- Act as a key member of the regional marketing team, developing new concepts and innovation projects that influence our application and product roadmap.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in marketing and sales.
- Strong understanding of MCU and sensor architectures in consumer/IoT applications.
- Good understanding of the competitive landscape and key market players.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to present Infineon offerings to facilitate product selection.
- Strong sense of urgency and leadership in solving complex business challenges.
- Solid interpersonal skills to interface with customers, present solutions, and collaborate with Infineon Sales and product lines.
- Self-motivated and proactive in learning and addressing topics that arise during business activities.
