About this role
The Principal Cyber Security Engineer will support post-market cybersecurity activities within Boston Scientific’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Research and Development organization. The role involves assessing and documenting the security posture of medical products, applications, and supporting infrastructure while ensuring compliance with quality systems and cybersecurity processes. Responsibilities include supporting security testing tools and their integration into quality processes, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in medical devices and software, monitoring changes to product security controls, maintaining cybersecurity inventories and tracking databases, and providing technical support for hospital cybersecurity agreements. The engineer will also support security risk assessments, threat modeling, application security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing throughout the product development lifecycle. The position requires collaboration with internal teams, IT/R&D engineers, architects, analysts, consultants, Legal, and other technical stakeholders.
