About the Role Impulse Space is advancing in-space transportation beyond Low Earth Orbit with its Helios vehicle and Mira spacecraft. This role contributes to the mission of delivering payloads to MEO, GEO, heliocentric, lunar, and other planetary orbits by supporting system design, integration, and operations.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate on development, integration, and deployment of in-space transportation systems (Helios with Deneb engine, Mira propulsion) to enable reliable and economical orbital transport.
- Assist in planning and executing missions for payload deployment and precision reentry services for customers worldwide.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and mission success in high-energy spaceflight environments.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in in-space transportation and propulsion systems, with a passion for advancing reliable and economical spaceflight.
- Background in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or related disciplines, or equivalent hands-on experience.
