About the Role A dedicated Job Developer will develop and monitor workforce development services for participants in Work Experience/Internship, On-the-Job Training, Community Service, and Apprenticeship Programs, supporting current and Post-TANF/NHEP participants. This in-person role works with CAPHR staff, local employers, educators, and social service organizations to expand opportunities. What You'll Do
- Provide individualized job development services aligned with BES/CAPHR assessments, employment plans, and participant goals.
- Collaborate with local employers, workforce development agencies, CBOs, and training providers to identify and develop opportunities.
- Develop, monitor, and execute agreements for Work Experience/Internship, OJT, Community Service, and Apprenticeship programs.
- Build a diverse menu of opportunities by networking and employing marketing strategies.
- Provide a range of services including job preparation, barrier resolution, career development, re-employment, and post-employment support.
- Promote upskilling to improve eligibility for higher wage positions.
- Support training and credentialing attainment by coordinating with employers on required training.
- Meet participants in local offices, libraries, community colleges, One Stop Centers, and other convenient locations.
- Report participant changes including employment status to BES Career Counselor.
- Contact active participants and employers at least twice per month; enter data into NH New HEIGHTS on the day of contact.
- Attend required meetings and on-site monitorings; participate in regular networking and partner meetings as assigned.
- Complete Job Developer Training within the first 6 months (proof of current certification acceptable).
- Demonstrate ability to regularly meet or exceed performance goals and maintain professional boundaries. What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of local and statewide social services and ability to navigate related systems.
- Experience supporting current and Post-TANF/NHEP participants and collaborating with employers, educators, and social service organizations.
- Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to meet or exceed performance goals and work in-person at a local office.
- Proficiency with data entry and reporting, including the NH New HEIGHTS system.
- Willingness to complete Job Developer Training within 6 months or provide current certification. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $21.42 per hour (USD).
