About this role
About the Role This is a guide describing how to apply for jobs using the Taylor University Career Page. It explains how to create or sign in to your account, search for jobs, apply, and track your application throughout the process.
What You'll Do
- Create or sign in to your Career Page account, including options to sign in with Google or Facebook, and the requirement that emails be unique. Set a strong password (at least 12 characters with upper/lowercase letters, numbers and symbols) and answer the security question. Create the account and keep a record of your username.
- Search for jobs by typing a job title and optionally filtering by state, city, or zip code; review job details and open a listing to view more information.
- Apply for a job by clicking Apply, optionally import a résumé, complete required sections (contact information, work experience, education, additional information, references, supplemental questions), upload attachments, and use Save and Submit to finalize.
- Manage entries in the application (add, remove with confirmation, edit details, and monitor progress with the progress bar). Use the Certify & Submit step to finalize and receive a submission confirmation.
- Check application status by using Applications & Status, viewing in-progress, submitted, and incomplete applications, and reviewing job-specific details.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to navigate an online job application portal and follow step-by-step instructions.
- Willingness to provide general contact information, work experience, education, and, if required, references and supplemental responses.
- Ability to attach and manage documents (résumé, licenses, certificates) in employer-supported formats; upload as needed.
- Awareness that email addresses must be unique, password requirements (at least 12 characters; upper and lower case; numbers; symbols) must be met, and security questions answered.
- Adaptability to different employer requirements and the ability to review and correct errors indicated in the progress bar.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with online career portals or HR systems.
- Familiarity with uploading attachments and managing multiple application entries.
- Attention to detail and habit of saving progress frequently to avoid data loss.
