About the Role We are seeking a Java/J2EE Developer with UI and cloud/container experience to design, build, and optimize enterprise applications in a hybrid work environment in Irving, TX. The role emphasizes strong hands-on skills across Java/J2EE, Spring, databases, UI technologies, and modern deployment patterns, with a focus on performance and security.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications using Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle DB.
- Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and deploy microservices-based solutions.
- Collaborate on containerization and deployment in ECS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Architect and design solutions using the latest technologies; build UI components for agent applications; contribute to UI architecture using Micro Frontend patterns (NX).
- Develop UI using JavaScript and Angular; ensure performance, scalability, and security across front-end and back-end layers.
- Work with Elasticsearch, NoSQL databases, and caching solutions to optimize data access.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls across solutions.
- Leverage experience with ES2015-era JavaScript and knowledge of ECMA proposals; familiarity with Figma is a plus.
- Nice-to-have: experience with Mainframe and Exstream/MessagePoint tools.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in Java/J2EE development; strong skills in Java, Spring, Oracle DB, Hibernate.
- Proficiency in UI technologies (JavaScript, Angular) and experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Experience with ECS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift; understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience designing and architecting solutions; UI components for agent applications; SME for UI patterns (Micro Frontend, NX).
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch, NoSQL, caching; security and identity concepts (authentication/authorization).
- Self-starter with a passion for technology; able to work in a hybrid Irving, TX environment.
Nice to Have
- Figma experience; Mainframe and Exstream/MessagePoint tools.
- Understanding of ECMA future proposals.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $45,000 – $110,000 per year (USD).
