For The Role

Proven experience in Java EE, Spring, Servlets, Web Services (REST, SOAP), JPA, Hibernate; Experience with client-server based technologies and SW architecture practices; Good understanding of various Databases, UI frameworks, deployment environments; Experience with version control (GIT) and application servers (Tomcat, Jetty); Practitioner of Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito), Continuous Integration, Build Automation, and Agile Methodologies; Knowledge about Agile Scrum/Kanban principles; Experienced with Angular; English at a very good level; German is a plus.

Daily Responsibilities

Technical ownership of dedicated modules/streams inside the project; Design and implement new features; Implementation of standard methodologies, SOLID principles; Refactor and improve the existing code base; Participate in code reviews and coaching and mentoring of less experienced team members; Work close with the QA-Team for implementing features/bug fixes; Contribution to the SW development community within the company; To promote out-of-the-box thinking and ideas.
