About the Role
Valce Talent Solutions is supporting a client Hexaware with a Java Developer role. We are seeking a candidate with 4-7 years of experience in Java development to design and deliver backend services using Java and Spring Boot, collaborate on API integrations, and contribute to data processing tasks. This is a fully remote opportunity based in Mexico (Guadalajara).
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services
- Work with Oracle databases performing data analysis and manipulation
- Use Git or SVN for version control and collaborate in a team
- Write system, unit, and integration tests using JUnit or similar frameworks
- Apply frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as needed and coordinate with UI teams
- Communicate effectively and work independently and in a team
What We're Looking For
- 4 to 7 years of experience as a Java developer
- Proficient in Spring Boot frameworks
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience writing tests (system, unit, integration) with JUnit or similar
- Experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and in a team; strong problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced English
